Sitting Mountain Pose starts each class.  It helps center   the   student   for   the   Chair   Yoga experience.    At  this  time  the student  becomes aware  of  each  breath.    The  breath  takes  the students'    intentions   deeper   into   each   pose.
Sitting  Mountain  Pose  begins   the  process  of correct  spinal  alignment  and  proper  posture.

Only a few Chair Yoga poses are shown here.  There are many more Chair Yoga poses available from the long tradition of Hatha Yoga.
